Buzzing! fundraising

Last year, sales of my 2007 BigBuzz calendars raised funds for the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust and St Saviourgate Unitarian Chapel in York. I’m pleased to be able to report that over the Christmas season this year, sales of my Buzzing! CDs have raised money for the following charities:

• Botton Village
• Cancer Research
• Martin House (Children’s Hospice)
• Relate
• St Saviourgate Unitarian Chapel.

Thank you to everyone who bought the CDs. I hope you’ve been enjoying listening to them!

Yorkshire Wildlife Trust donation

I visited the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust head office in York yesterday to hand over a donation. The money came from the sale of my 2007 BigBuzz calendar. So, thank you to all those who bought the calendars!

The photo above shows me (on the left) handing the cheque to Vicky Harland, who is the Education Officer for the Trust’s Wild About York project. She and I hope to be able to work together on some projects for local schools – if I can find the funding! So, that’s my next job …

theBigBuzz 2007 Calendar

A new year, a new BigBuzz calendar! The 2007 BigBuzz calendar takes you on a journey through the year in theBigBuzz garden in Heslington, on the outskirts of York.

An international hit, it has sold like hot cakes, raising money for two local charities in the process.

As you read this, there may still be some copies available from info@theBigBuzz.biz (price £7.99 for one, or two for £15, plus p&p).

The calendar was printed locally on chlorine-free paper from a sustainable forest source. The photos in the calendar are shown below.
