Help, we have a nest of beautiful buff tailed bees under our shed, but we are going to have a new shed put in on this coming tuesday. The bees are coming in and out regular. We are going to move them when it is dark and move them up the garden but we have never done this before and I am worried of doing them or us any harm.
We live in Swanley, Kent.
Are there any bee lovers out there ?
Would any one want the bees ?
How big and deep can the nests be ?

I’d recommend you contact the Bumblebee Conservation Trust about this(enquiries@bumblebeeconservationtrust.co.uk). First though, look at the FAQs on this page of their website:

as they include what to do if you need to move/remove a bumblebee nest.
