Darwin celebrations in York

Beetle Buzz: Darwin’s Doings and the Bugs of York
Everything you always wanted to know about Darwin,
but were afraid to ask …

There’ll be live music, plentiful quotes from Darwin himself, Marta’s famous home-made cookies, fun poems – some I’ve never performed before, some ‘Buzzing!‘  favourites – close-up projected photos, including some brand new animations … All at my ‘Beetle Buzz’ show, part of the ‘Fruits of Heresy’ Darwin celebrations being held in York.

Saturday 14 February at 7.30 pm –  the same show as above, but with a Valentine’s Day twist, and music from John Rayson

Both performances take place at the Unitarian Chapel in St Saviourgate in York.

Book your tickets by email or telephone 01845 574542, or 07946 487321.

Children and adults alike are welcome.

Do come along for a evening of fun edu-tainment – and find out how you can make a valuable contribution to the work of scientists following in Darwin’s footsteps today …

‘The Fruits of Heresy’ is a month-long celebration of Darwin’s life and ideas at York Unitarian Chapel. Events include talks by York University academics, a film screening and an exhibition.  Click on the following link for the full programme:  ‘Fruits of Heresy’ Programme of Events (pdf)
