National Storytelling Week show

It will soon be National Storytelling Week 2010! And to celebrate this event, Catherine Heinemeyer and I have been invited to Pocklington Arts Centre to perform our Raucous Rhymes and Wonder Tales show on Sunday 7th February at 6.30pm.

Come along, and let us take you on an entrancing journey exploring childhood across the ages and around the world, in spellbinding stories and preposterous poems – like this one:

We first performed this show last year at the York Literature Festival – and it was a sell-out success, so book your tickets now if you’d like to come along to watch, listen and take part in our Pocklington performance!

You can book tickets in person at the Pocklington Arts Centre, or by telephone on 01759 301547.

This show will include a story from Malawi – which is very apt, as Catherine and I are both supporters of the Mwabi Institute in Malawi – as are two Pocklington schools – Pocklington Community Junior School and Pocklington Infant School.

We look forward to seeing you in Pocklington on Sunday 7th February!
