Do come along! In the spirit of the festival, entry is free (for residents and non-residents alike)!
No need to book your place in advance – just turn up in good time at St Saviourgate Unitarian Chapel, where the show is taking place.
Built in 1693, the beautiful St Saviourgate Unitarian Chapel was the first large brick-built building in York. If you haven’t visited this chapel before, this is a great opportunity to do so. If it’s a building you already know, then you’ll know how special a place it is. (And with a great acoustic, which is why so many Early and Late Music Festival concerts take place there.)
My show will be a wry look-back over recent current affairs, and will include poems broadcast on Radio 2, Radio 4 and the BBC World Service. And there are refreshments provided afterwards!
It starts at 7.30pm. I look forward to seeing you there!
