It’s known as the Glastonbury of the birding world. Yes, Birdfair (aka the British Birdwatching Fair) is where you’ll find my publisher, Brambleby Books, and me next weekend, Friday 17th to Sunday 19th August 2018. It’s a first for both of us, and there will be lots of special offers from Brambleby, so do come and find us, in the blue Marquee 7, Stand 13!
As I understand it, having a special children’s marquee – the Wild Zone – is a first for Birdfair this year too. And that’s where I’ll be performing my Flying High! show, on:
- Friday at noon
- Saturday at 3pm
- Sunday at 10am.
So, bring the kids and join in some birding through laughter, rhythm and rhyme.
N.B. You’re allowed to come along even if you have no children in tow!
I’ll also be signing copies of my Flying High! book at the Brambleby Books stall, and putting on some special performances there too. So, if you have a special Flying High! poem you’d like me to perform just for you, come along to the stall (blue Marquee 7, Stall 13) on:
- Friday at 2pm
- Saturday at 11.30
- Sunday at 12 noon.
There will be several other Brambleby authors reading from their books over the weekend, too. So, plenty of treats in store! You can find out more in the latest issue of the Brambleby Books newsletter.
I’m looking forward very much to experiencing my first ever Birdfair – and look forward to seeing you there!
