I run innovative, hands-on, beginners’ photography workshops in which I show you how to take great nature photos with compact (‘point-and-shoot’) digital cameras or camera phones. I put on these workshops for:
- individual children/families (a great birthday/Christmas present!)
‘Very impressed with how you taught them. I will definitely recommend you to my friends.’ Michelle, Mum of two girls
‘Well organised, super resources, good range/balance of activities so children focused and on task. Super photographs taken by the children.’ Amanda Lovell, Year 6 teacher
‘Your photography workshops were absolutely brilliant! You have a fantastic way with people, getting them involved and building their confidence … so thank you!’ Jonathan Dent, York Environment Centre
I provide Canon cameras for use in the workshops (or you can use own), plus all sorts of other equipment to help you take the best possible photos.
The photos I take with my compact digital camera have been used in calendars, books, newspapers and magazines by, for example, Marks and Spencer, Hallmark, leading natural history publisher A&C Black, the Woodland Trust, as well as in the scientific literature, and in my own BigBuzz shows, books, cards and calendars.
My photography workshops will teach you how to do the same.
